Resolutions, Words, or Goals

It’s 2025. I’m not choosing a word for the year this year, and resolutions are a thing of the past. I do have goals, however.

My rom-com novella, Snowflakes and Puppy Love , will be released along with three other novellas in the collection Pets Amore on February 11, 2025, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Kids and a puppy add humor to the romance plot of my novella.

After many years of attending the Montrose Christian Writers’ Conference as a conferee, soaking in the expertise and fellowship of other Christian writers, in 2025 I’m putting on a faculty badge and will be teaching three workshops: Working with a Publisher, What Makes a Novel Christian, and Writers Helping Writers. It’s time me to give back/pay forward to encourage others.

July 26, 2025 is the release date for Melody of Life, my fifth contemporary romance. Melody of Life is the sequel to my first published novel, Meadowsong. I’m excited for this accomplishment. (No cover yet.)

A fourth goal for my writing journey this year is to draw closer to God through study of His Word and prayer. God has given us His Word so we can know Him and obey Him. As a Christian writer, my worldview is based on my understanding of God and the Bible, and that should be reflected in my novels.
